On April 18, 2013, Simeon and Andrey went to the village of Kekur to hold a Bible
study there. There are 2 Christians living there: Luba and her daughter Nadya. In
spring the roads there are a nightmare. We thank God we took an old Russian vehicle
with 4-wheel drive with us. But when we almost got there we were stopped by a pretty
wide ditch right in the middle of the road! The water from the brooks had damaged
the road so much that traffic had to stop! Thank God somebody had left some boards
on the other side. We took the boards and threw them into the ditch so that we and
other vehicles could drive on. We made it to Kekur that day no problem. I just wanted
to give you an idea on the condition of the roads in our district. This picture shows
